FAQs

What are the common applications of air grinding industrial spindles?

Loadpoint Bearings offer air-bearing solutions for a variety of general industrial applications. These include high speed bore grinding, mould grinding, tool grinding, graphite milling, workheads, and fibre rolling. We stive to develop novel air-bearing products and use air bearings in more new applications.

What is the rotational speed range of your grinding industrial spindles?

Associated spindle speeds range from 100 rpm to a maximum of 120,000 rpm.

How can I optimise the performance and lifespan of my air bearing grinding industrial spindle?

The lifespan of an air bearing spindle can vary depending on several factors, including the quality of the air supply, the operating conditions, the maintenance practices, and the application demands. We provide spindle specifications, installation requirements and maintenance. To maximise the lifespan, it is essential to follow manufacturer's maintenance guidelines and operate the spindle within its designed perameters.
